Today we moved from one living space to a more permanent one that is a bit closer to our studio space and to the galleries. Some of us also took a brief walk through some of the Cao Chung Di galleries.

The pictures below are from one of the many court yards built into a large art complex designed by AWW and (as one of BASE’s architecture students observed) has been mimicked by others since. (Although he sees this as the best thing for the community as they are actually copying a good design.) The last one is of the studio desk from which I will be writing you from now until I leave.

Alli had to work today at PACE, Beijing this afternoon. I hope her first day went well!
