The 2010 MATA Festival presents Tristan Perich’s qsqsqsqsqqqqqqqqq, for three toy pianos and three-channel 1-bit sound (performed by Lorna Krier, Amir Khosrowpour and Tristan Perich), on a program with Lisa Moore and Ensemble Pamplemousse. Virtuoso pianist Lisa Moore presents a diverse program by Julian Day (MATA Commissionee), Sam Adams, Paul Swartzel, Timothy Andres, and MATA ED Missy Mazzoli. Ensemble Pamplemousse presents works by member composers Natacha Diels, Rama Gottfriend, Andrew Greenwald and David Broome.
